Celeb Inspired Looks for Less: Kourtney Kardashian

Hello all, its Jaz' here and I have been inspired! Many of those who have known me awhile and observed my fashion tell me that my style resembles that of the eclectic and boho chic Kourtney Kardashian. I take this as a grand compliment as she is always well put together and never afraid to take risks when it comes to fashion. I decided to do one of her fash looks for less, putting together items I already owned to create what i hope to be a worthy replica. This outfit was worn to a Sunday lunch date with a friend. Now take a look at a comparison between her look and mine.

Trendspotting: Sequins

Hey chicas, Jaz' here! Here's a trend thats all the rage right now and perfect for adding a little spunk to your outfits during this holiday season. Sequins! They can be mixed with your everyday wardrobe to make you stand out from the crowd. At nighttime, they can also be used as a main piece to turn heads and liven up the party soon as you walk thru the door. Take note from a few of these fashionable celebs:

Whether worn as a fitted blazer (like Blake Lively), a sassy skirt (like Jennifer Lopez), or a poppin gold frock (like Kim Kardashian), these bold looks would be sure to turn heads at any occasion. Sequins make a powerful statement, but with this power comes great responsibility. Be sure not to overdo the look by adding too many sequins in too many places. Only one item of clothing in any ensemble should contain sequins, lest your outfit become a shiny joke and your friends coin you a walking disco ball. Even if your sequin piece is more of an accessory (such as shoes or a purse), let it shine on its own. Keep everything else pretty subtle and you have a winning look!
